In 1949, Gardiner's of Scotland began manufacturing high quality confectionery. Today, the respected and well-established company, run by the second generation of the family, produces a wide range of traditional confectionery. Only selected, finest ingredients are used. It is not without reason that the products from Gardiner's of Scotland have been awarded numerous prizes!

Fudge, a sweet specialty of English origin from the 19th century, is made from the best butter, cream and sugar in a water bath. The fudges came about through the mistake of a confectioner who spoiled a whole tin of caramel by choosing the wrong water temperature: »Fudge!« (»screwed up«) he exclaimed when he discovered the mistake. The "screwed up" caramel was flavorful, soft, and melted quickly in the mouth. Since then, these toffees have been sold with great success all over the world under the name Fudge.
